Davis Bates Clapp - Son who passed too soon

Son of the shoe magnate in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Davis Bates Clapp died in 1902 at the young age of 23.  His father, so distraught, erexted the Davis Bates Memorial Hall on the playing fields also known as Clapp Memorial Park, to forever honor his son's memory.
